Atlassian Pride Campaign

Pride started out as a protest and fight for equal rights. For Pride Month in 2020, Atlassian set out to continue this fight, build on momentum for intersectional equity, and support not-for-profit organizations in the US who are fighting for the rights and visibility of the BIPOC queer community, with emphasis on the Black LGBTQAI+ Community.

Using Atlassian's platform, voice, privilege, and capital to uplift and highlight voices from these marginalized communities, the company selected five organizations to bring awareness to over the course of one week. Atlassian released a series of posts across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter that spotlighted the five organizations and their purpose, while also educating and empowering their extended team of followers, customers, employees and partners to donate to the organizations. In turn, Atlassian would match the donations.

The campaign resulted in nearly $100,000 in donations, all of which was evenly split across the five organizations.
